Unable to view image on Microsoft word

One of the users emailed me a word document that had a screenshot of an error. I opened the word document and all I could see was an empty rectangle in the place of the picture. Take a look at the screenshot below. After checking several options on MS Word, I atlast found the answer. Try the below steps if you are not able to view a picture or graphics inserted into a word document.
Word 2003 and earlier:
- Go to Tools -> Options -> View. Under Print and Web Layout Options, make sure the Drawings check box is selected.
- Go to Format -> Paragraph and make sure that line spacing of the paragraph the picture is in is not set to an Exact value
Word 2007:
- Click on the Office Button -> word Options -> Advanced. Under Show document content, make sure that Show drawings and text boxes on screen is checked and the Show picture placeholders is not checked.
