Apple yesterday introduced the new multi-touch wireless mouse called the Magic Mouse, the first multi-touch mouse in the World. It is a two-button mouse but has no visible buttons, scroll wheels or scroll balls.

The top surface of the Magic Mouse is a seamless Multi-touch area. But still you can feel and hear the button click because the mouse itself is the button. There is no scroll wheel or scroll ball but you can still scroll in any direction with one finger and swipe across the web pages and images. You do not have to raise your finger to double click. Both left or right handed users can use Magic Mouse.

The Magic Mouse uses the same multi-touch technology that is used in iPhone, iPod touch and MacBook Pro. It uses Bluetooth to connect to your Mac wirelessly. Apple claims that Magic Mouse can work upto a proximity of 33 feet. It also uses Laser-Tracking Engine that is very sensitive and precise on almost any surface when compared to the traditional optical mouse which requires a mouse pad most of the times.

System Requirements:

Magic Mouse comes with every new iMac but you can also use it with any Bluetooth-enabled Mac OS X v10.5.8 or later with Wireless Mouse Software update 1.0
